Welcome to the Early Years and Healthy Settings section of the Safeguarding Children Board website. This page has been designed for Early Years settings, practitioners, students and parents to access information and guidance about safeguarding children and their roles and responsibilities in keeping children safe.

The Pre-school Learning Alliance provides safeguarding advice and information to Early Years settings

 The Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage sets out the standards for learning, development and care for young children from birth to age 5 years, including advice on safeguarding and welfare
