Honour Based Abuse

Honour Based Abuse is an international term used by many cultures to justify abuse and violence. It is a crime or incident committed in order to protect or defend the family or community 'honour' (izzat)

Child Trafficking

Child trafficking is the recruitment and movement of children for the purpose of exploitation. It is a form of child abuse and requires a child protection response

Female Genital Mutilation

Female genital mutilation (FGM) includes procedures that intentionally alter or injure female genital organs for non-medical reasons.

A new information sheet for addressing FGM in schools has been issued by the PSHE Association
